So coming from a house where my husband doesn’t do DIY and me a mere female, I needed to paint the garden fence, I attempted this by hand in the 1 day of sun we had a few weeks ago, I could barely move after painting just the gate and 1 panel, with this in mind options were pay someone to do it or there must be an easier and cheaper way, so I took to Amazon and came across this amazing piece of kit, being warned about back spray I purchased a white cover all, it gave the twitching curtains out the back something to look at as they must have thought I had killed my non DIY husband and buried him under the patio, anyway the good bit, so Amazon delivered my sprayer, it came in a small box so I thought oh dear this is so light is it going to be any good, I opened the box, sat in the blazing sun in my white coverall sweating like a fat kid in a sweet shop, I began to read the instructions, they were very easy to follow as being a female I simply looked at the pictures rather than trying to read them, I was using shed and fence paint and it was quite thick so I filled the canister up to the 1000ml mark then topped up with water about 1 cm from the top, screwed it on to trigger handle, balancing precariously on my hand then once fully tightened gave it a good shake, I used the largest nozzle as had large area to cover, I found holding the sprayer upright and around 10cms from the fence gave the best coverage, when I got to close or tilted the sprayer it drenched the wood, only criticism is you use the paint up fast and spent more time filling it back up, I feel I will see if I can purchase a spare pot so I can alternate it, anyway fence dried luckily before the rain and I’m really happy with the coverage just 2 coats, I have highly recommended this product to 2 friends and would to anyone, it’s bloody brilliant

With the number of overpriced and over marketed products on the market, I was skeptical of choosing a lower priced item with functionality in mind.

Depending on your paint, I added a small amount of water to help the gun spray better and very happy with the results.

Diese pinsele ich dann immer mit Holzschutzfarbe und dann mit Bootslack. Das dauert immer ewig und dann übersieht man wieder eine Stelle. Und das mache ich immer bevor ich alles zusammenbaue damit alles voll Farbe und Bootslack ist. Nun habe ich es anders gemacht. Alles zusammengebaut. 2 Bänke und dann gesprüht. Pro Bank ca. 15 Minuten. Bin begeistert. Wenn man sich an den Abstand hält, die richtige Düse wählt dann tropft da auch nix. Am schwierigsten war für mich anfangs die richtige Konsistenz zu mischen. Ich war viel zu zaghaft. Das Gemisch muss wie Wasser sein. Klappt super mit dem kleinen Filter der anzeigt wann die Konsistenz stimmt. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Projekt im Frühjahr, da wird das Gartenhäuschen bunt:-)
