I am very pleased & impressed with this unit. I did a lot of research into mini-chainsaws & (as usual) there were excellent reviews for many, coupled with bad reviews. This unit had good reviews in general but the stand-out feature for me is that the safety release button is bilateral, so the unit is suitable for both left & right-handers (I'm the former). Most units that I'd seen had just one safety release button on the left side, so only really suitable for right-handers. This unit allowed me to cut down my overgrown Hazelnut tree, which was around 18 feet tall, with trunks of approximately 6 inches diameter, with ease (see photo). I was surprised at how little effort was needed to cut through the widest parts of the trunks. The unit is supplied with two battery packs & I used just one to get the tree down to the level shown, then the second pack to chop up the debris. The package contents are very good, including safety goggles, gloves, sawtooth sharpener, cleaning brush & user manual. The only thing you need to buy as an extra is a bottle of chainsaw oil & please also note that this unit has a reservoir for oil, unlike some other units which don't. Overall I'm delighted with this unit. I won't use it that often, but when I need to I know it'll be up to the job. I would certainly recommend it.

    I was a bit hesitant with all of the many similar products available and many reviews with various problems stated, but plumped for this one and I was glad I did. This product has a sturdy, solid feel to it and comes with everything you will need, EXCEPT for chain oil. I bought some Makita branded oil which seems to work well enough. Some similar products come with a small oil dispensing bottle, but this one doesn't. However, it's easy enough to fill the reservoir straight out of the oil bottle.

    On arrival. I checked the chain tension and it was spot on. There was not much stretching after taking down and logging a 15 foot tree with 6" trunk and branches. This product dealt with the job with ease.

    The two supplied batteries were almost fully charged when received and didn't need much time to be brought up to full charge. The gloves supplied are handy for doing something else that needs gloves with a bit of grip, but are NOT chainsaw proof. Fortunately, I have a pair of Stihl gloves that are chainsaw resistant. The goggles supplied are handy too! A spare chain is also supplied.

    Please remember that ANY chainsaw is dangerous in unskilled hands. I am an experienced chainsaw user with a petrol driven Stihl and it would be easy to think because this is so easy to handle, that safety precautions are not needed. It's not just the saw, this can cut through a 6" branch in seconds, leaving a heavy lump of wood to fall down and possibly cause injury. Any novice should read and fully understand chainsaw safety and use instructions that are readily available on the internet.

    I saw a seller on Amazon charging £20 for 1 replacement chain for 8inch Goldea chainsaw

    I have used the replacement chain and they are brilliant, slice through the wood like the ones that came with chainsaw.

    FYI I literally counted all the links -on the original chain - which totalled 47. Each link is 1/4 inch long and 1.1mm wide to fit chain into the slot on the chain holder.

    There may be cheaper sellers of replacement chains but i'd had enough 'counting of links in pictures etc. As some 8inch chains have less links.

    Anyway i'm no expert but thought i'd share the replacement chain, link above.

    This mini chainsaw attacks wood, like putting a hot knife through butter. I am shocked at how sharp and driven this lightweight tool is. It is brilliant.

    Arrived yesterday, used today and the first wood cut left me punching the air with joy.

    I needed a tool that would cut horizontally, mostly and not have a kick-back from the 'blade' if the tip hit other wood. I am trying to cut into floor boards - to lift them - but the edges of the room are an issue where 2 to 4 inches of the previous floorboards 'linger'...i couldn't clear theses edges of wood to be flush with wall. However, now i can.

    This will save me several hundred £s by not having to hire a joiner to clear up edge cuts.

    although this is first time of use, i can tell this will be a valuable e-tool to have.

    The chain itself is razor sharp, and after a 15 minute charge to bring battery to full load (must have arrived with partial charge), it ate the wood like it was starving.

    I do recommend highly, great price at around £68, and no doubt will use for log cutting in the future.

    A very useable mini chainsaw with two batteries. Ideal for tree pruning where the branches are too thick for loppers. Cuts through trees quickly and with little difficulty. Much easier work than a hand saw.

    The batteries last well, even in the cold, well fully charged. Having two batterries is very useful.

    It took a while to find the part of the batterry that connects to the charger. The connection is a bit hidden so look carefully!

    Comes with gloves, goggles, charger, the two batterries, brush, spare chain, chain guard and chain cover.

    I needed to buy chainsaw oil before use. It might be better to buy a small bottle of chainsaw oil as filling the oil reservoir might be easier and less messy with a small bottle.

    Vorab, dies ist keine gekaufte Rezension.

    Kurz zusammengefast: Ich bin begeistert vom Lieferservice und der Mini Kettensäge.
    Ausführlich: Die Lieferung war schnell von einem auf den anderen Tag und der Verkäufer schickte noch zusätzlich eine Meldungen über die Handhabung und Pflege der Kettensäge. Eine Woche später kam noch eine Meldung das man sich bei Problemen direkt melden kann und eine passende Lösung gefunden würde. Das hatte ich bisher noch nicht so erlebt. Super!
    Auch Klasse war das es beim Kauf noch einen Gutschein gab der direkt an der Kasse abgezogen wurde. Damit war die Mini Kettensäge unschlagbar günstig.

    Zum Einsatz: Die Mini Kettensäge ist wirklich handlich. Da der Akku direkt in den Griff gesteckt wird hat man nicht den dicken "Klops" unten dran hängen wir man es von anderen Akku betriebenen Geräten kennt und bleibt damit beim Einsatz nicht irgendwo im Gestrüpp hängen. Das Gehäuse macht einen stabilen Eindruck, so wie bei alle anderen Handwerkgeräte die man auch vom Discounter kennt. Ich habe direkt meinen "Urwald" im Garten gelichtet und auch dickere Äste und Stämme (Durchmesser bis ca. 15 cm) gut schneiden können. Da die Säge nicht im Dauerbetrieb läuft sondern immer nur für ein paar Sekunden bis das Gehölz gesägt ist, hat der Akku den ganzen Vormittag gehalten. Gefühlt war das dann ein Einsatz von 15 bis 20 Minuten. Da noch ein zweiter Akku dabei ist konnte ich den ganzen Tag damit arbeiten. Die Reinigung der Mini Kettensäge war mit dem mitgelieferten Pinsel auch ganz einfach. Bisher hatte ich die Säge an zwei Wochenenden im vollen Einsatz und sie hat durchgehalten. Ein Freund war auch ganz begeistert davon und möchte sie sich mal ausleihen :-) . Die Kette hat auch bis jetzt durchgehalten und zeigt kaum Verschleißerscheinungen. Da noch zwei weitere Ketten im praktischen Aufbewahrungskoffer beiliegen, sollte ein langer Einsatz gegeben sein, bevor ich die Ketten zum nachschleifen geben werde. Aber auch das könnte man mit der beiliegenden Feile selbst machen.

    Fazit: Alles im allen bin ich begeistert und würde die Mini Kettensäge, vor allem für den Preis wieder kaufen. Man sollte sich nur noch Motorkettensägenöl dazu bestellen, um die Kette(n) zu pflegen.

    Ho acquistato questa mini motosega dopo aver visto un video su YouTube. Credo che a questo prezzo sia un vero affare, considerando che arriva con due batterie da 21V (una potenza assolutamente adeguata), catena di ricambio e un po' di accessori, oltre ad una custodia morbida per conservarla e trasportarla. Con la dovuta calma e perizia, ho tagliato anche alberi di 15-20 cm di diametro girando tutto intorno al fusto. Resta fermo è che il suo utilizzo principale sia la potatura di rami di 2-5 cm di diametro, funzione che svolge egregiamente e con ampia autonomia (un centinaio di tagli con 1 batteria). Va oliata manualmente ogni 15-20 minuti per garantire un buon scorrimento della catena e taglio, ma questo non è assolutamente un problema. Il tensionamento della catena va verificato ogni 10 minuti e avviene velocemente grazie ad una rotella con ulteriore perno di blocco barra. Non deve essere troppo tesa, le va lasciato un gioco di 3mm. Dopo ogni uso smonto la barra, pulisco all'interno del carter e ungo lo scorrimento della barra prima di riporla nella confezione con la catena in po' allentata per evitare rotture dovute alla dilatazione termica (da calda la catena si raffredda e perde l'elasticità guadagnata con la dilatazione termica e potrebbe rompersi). Ho portato diverse piante finora e non mi ha mai deluso, mi ha anche permesso di raggiungere rami in piccoli spazi in mezzo a siepi, l'importante è non affondare troppo e lasciare che la catena penetri con i suoi tempi. Solo con il tempo verificherò la durata della catena e del motore, finora nessun blocco termico, questo modello ha per fortuna un dispositivo di arresto del motore in caso di surriscaldamento eccessivo. Buone potature a tutti.

    Ich habe lange überlegt,kauf ich mir eine solche Säge oder nicht. Diese war dann im Angebot und so hab ich sie gekauft. Bereut hsb ich es nicht. Gerade wegen des sehr reichlichem Zubehör. Dei ersten Bretter hsb ich schon zugeschnitten und muss sagen, ich bin wirkich positiv überrascht. Von meiner Seite her kann ich sie empfehlen.

    Non è una motosega anzitutto, è piu uno strumento per potatura dei rami, anche grandi. Io personalmente ci ho tagliato rami da legna spessi anche 20 cm. Ovviamente usandola come motosega la batteria in dotazione consente circa 20 minuti di utilizzo. Per tagliare una catasta di legna ho impiegato un paio di giorni, dovendo ricaricare le due batteri in dotazione (circa 3 ore). Comunque svolge egregiamente il suo mestiere tagliano molto bene. Pratica, manegevole e di facile utilizzo. Si consiglia di lubrificare bene prima dell'utilizzo e fare attenzione alla tensione della catena, a volte tende ad allentarsi.
