I have been interested in macro for a long time but have struggled with lighting. I saw this reviewed on a Youtube channel and immediately ordered this set. The packaging is great and the system is easy to setup and use.
I have since added a third unit for more versatility and I expect to add a 4th before too long. Being able to expand the kit over time is a great feature. The integration of these flashes into the overall Godox family is also a huge plus - I have amassed 4 strobes plus these units and have been able to use them all together without problem. I really, really like that Godox have built out their own ecosystem and it is great to know that I could move to a new camera system and would only have to buy a new controller to be able to keep using my (rapidly expanding) family of flash units.
Note that you have to already own one of the Godox flash controllers (I have the X-Pro for my Fujis) or buy one in addition to this kit.
