This whole bucket and mop set has been really well thought through. Once you have loosened the pole and extended it to your desired length and attached a mop head via a plastic end screw arrangement everything is ready to use. The spinning mechanism and splash guard really work (just insert the mop head carefully into the strainer and remember to allow the shaft to spin freely between your hands).
With a good liquid floor cleaner and some hot water it does a really good job of cleaning with no scratchy exposed bits on the mop head and despite going over two grubby floors the mop fibres shed the dirt into the water rather than retaining it. One of the best bits of design is a bit of the bucket handle where the mop handle can clip into so one can transport everything easily with one hand while the mop head is safely in the bucket and the handle is held securely upright. Genius, and so simple.
