Have had a few months and whilst I don't use it all the time it has had quite a few runs. I have used it to make strawberry daiquiri which were very nice. Much better than if they had ice cubes flouting around. Also used to make slushes, but have found these work better if you add water to the mix as the ice tends to refreeze.

    I bought this machine to make a Filipino dessert called “halo halo” and it surprised me with how well it works whilst being quite affordable! It is super easy to use and maintain, just be sure to put in too much/too big of ice at once because sometimes it’s hard to crush. I love that there is a setting for how finely crushed you want you. Totally recommend for use in the summer and could probably use for shaved ice!

    Rather basic ice crusher. The lid position is handling the safety mechanism so no actual on/off switch which is a bit unsafe in my view and therefore not to be used by young kids.
    Crashes ice (as long as the cubes aren’t massive) and some do tend to slide out of the tray and get stuck under it…. Not the most brilliant design.

    This thing crushes ice, looks smart and is easy to clean. Saw that somebody reviewed this saying something about how it cut their hand open and they had to clean blood off the side... I literally tried to injure myself with it, scraping my hand back and forth across the inside and couldn't. Just remove the transparent part and use the scoop provided. Maybe they had a bad mould or something though I dunno... I've used this thing in some right states and always been fine. Ice crushers are loud though, don't let that surprise you.
